So, you'll be pleased to know that we did manage to buy some girly things for Aubrey and BOTH Allison and I lived to tell the story. Allison picked out a pink, plaid leash (VERY her), a pink collar, a silver heart charm with pink jewels and a colorful snowman charm with jewels (also VERY her). She was so excited, although she was in a snit about the fact that there were no clothes to buy for Aubrey.
We leave for Ohio in exactly 2 weeks from today. In fact, we should be comfortably settled into our hotel room, the kids will be long asleep and I will be in my jammies by this time on November 30...House is on after-all. Zachary came inside after school today and started to walk around the house asking, "Mommy, where is my Aubrey?" We're definitely at the start of something great! :)
